AI-assisted resilient communication initiative for disaster scenarios.
Problem
Traditional communication systems can fail during disasters and infrastructure breakdowns. When internet access and cellular networks collapse, people lose the ability to coordinate, share locations, and request critical assistance.
Vision
AFETLINK explores adaptive resilient communication architectures capable of maintaining coordination during infrastructure-failure conditions through decentralized networking concepts, AI-assisted coordination logic, and alternative communication layers.
Current Status
Currently in early prototype and architecture-validation phase with ongoing real-world Bluetooth-based communication testing and AI-assisted development workflows.
Long-Term Direction
AFETLINK aims to explore adaptive communication orchestration capable of dynamically maintaining communication through the most suitable available communication layer under real-world disaster conditions.
